Success Story: Covernet
We worked with Covernet to deliver the brand for a new internal R&D project.
Covernet builds smart insurance software and is a leading supplier of web-based sales and administration solutions for insurers and brokers. They are committed to innovation in insurtech, and a new R&D facility would be a key part of their strategy.
They have clear guidelines for the parent brand, Covernet, which has been in place for many years. And had workshopped the new R&D unit’s name, Discovernet.
We worked with their team to create a new sub-brand visual identity, write key messaging and build a toolkit for their team to use to create marketing materials. Close integration with Covernet was a must, but the new materials also needed to engage a different audience profile. And the brands needed to work when displayed either side-by-side or independently.
“During Q1 of 2021 Covernet took part in the Invest NI Design Active programme. Our strategic objective for participating in this programme was to procure brand and design services to support the launch of a bespoke R&D unit dedicated to technical research and development. As a leading SaaS company, we had always been committed to digital transformation and innovation in insurtech and by establishing a bespoke facility within the company, this allowed for resource and personnel to be exclusively committed to R&D and to continue to help Covernet lead the way in insurance technology.
The development of a brand identity was key to this facility going live and bringing the commitment to innovation and research to life. Fundamental to the brief was the development of a logo and brand toolkit, which would live in tandem with the already established corporate identity of Covernet, allowing it to stand apart yet complement the parent Discovernet brand.
