Blakiston Houston Estate Company (BH Estates) has been in business for over 90 years and has unrivalled expertise in the improvement and management of rural enterprises. They also manage a wide range of commercial and residential lettings.
They came to us having decided to shorten their name, aiming to modernise their brand visual design and marketing materials. They also needed to develop a new website to help their team clarify the scope of their services.

The new BH Estates brand mark is influenced by rolling hills and landscapes. The hills have been refined and simplified to make a striking icon, with the elegant curves forming a unique foundation across graphic treatments.
In order to clearly display all the disparate services provided by the team in BH Estates, we first needed to categorise and sort them under sensible headings. We worked with the team through several iterations of structure diagrams to arrive at the shortest and most effective result. This then formed the backbone of the entire site, with key landing pages for services such as “Rural Enterprise” and “Land Management”.
The team can now quickly send links to potential clients to show the scope of their work instead of crucial information being lost in massive Word documents.
