Bia Analytical

Strategic Brand Transformation for an innovative, scientific food security business.

Bia Analytical is a food authentication testing laboratory. They are a world leader in the development of scientific methods to test food quality, authenticity and safety analysis, based within the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen’s University Belfast. The business had grown rapidly since spinning out from university research. However, they were aware that their existing branding was unprofessional and did not communicate their values or strategy.

Our team got to know the personalities and expertise behind the company, their goals and ambitions. We dug into their processes and identified the unique interactions they had with their customers. Our goal was to build a new brand strategy that fully aligned with their business plans, giving them a fresh look and feel and the tools they need to meet ambitious growth targets.

The new brand visual feels clean and professional and also builds trust. It references the clarity their tests provide, but also gives a unique personality to their communications.
